StrongLite windows and doors are backed by a 20-year limited warranty, reflecting our confidence in the quality, durability and workmanship of our products.
Glass
StrongLite provides a 10-year limited warranty on insulated glass from the date of delivery. If glass failure occurs during the warranty period as a result of a defect in the insulated glass unit, StrongLite will replace the glass without charge.
Finish
StrongLite warrants its painted or powder-coated products for a period of 5 years. If the finish fails due to cracking or peeling, StrongLite will replace or refinish the product at its discretion. To ensure the warranty remains valid, the product must be maintained in accordance with StrongLite’s specified maintenance recommendations
Warranty Exclusions
- Any issues or damage resulting from the use of incompatible accessories or materials that are not approved by StrongLite.
- Damage caused by improper storage, installation, handling, misuse or improper maintenance.
- Damage resulting from accidents, vandalism, or acts of nature, such as fire, flood, or earthquake.
- Modifications or alterations made to the doors and windows by parties other than StrongLite or an authorized representative.
- Damage caused by improper cleaning agents or techniques that are not recommended by StrongLite.
- Failure to adhere to maintenance guidelines outlined by StrongLite, leading to damage or deterioration.
- Minor changes in appearance due to exposure to extreme weather conditions or environmental factors.
- Fly Screens on doors or windows are not included in the warranty.
- Glass breakage or damage not directly attributed to a manufacturing defect.
- Consequential or indirect damages, including loss of time, inconvenience or associated costs beyond the scope of this warranty.
- Lockset hardware is covered by the specific lockset manufacturer’s warranty.
