The Swing door is a classic hinged door with elegant and time-honored functionality. They’re available in both steel or aluminum for either exterior or interior use. Choose between double or single doors, modern or historic design. Stronglite French doors are very popular as a divider between rooms or for access to a patio. Entryways typically include fixed or operable sidelights and transoms – either connected or separated. Units can have straight, arched or slightly curved tops as well as divided lites, (muntins) for greater visibility. Locks & Hardware
Stronglite swing door panels are supported on custom-made, welded steel hinges with brass bearings. They permit weightless, smooth, maintenance free operation. All our steel exterior doors utilize our patented ‘four perimeter seal system’ to prevent incursion of sound, air, water or dust. Our steel swing doors accept the outstanding GU multipoint locking system that anchors the door into its steel frame with a simple turn of the handle. Read more about multipoint locking here. Steel swing doors can also be bored to accommodate any lockset of your choice. All glazing options are available in both steel and aluminum entry doors and come with a threshold.
